Comments:  I enjoyed this book, much like the others in the series.  The on and off relationship between Al and Barb is honestly the thing I find most annoying.  Hopefully it stays in one state for more than a book now that it seems to have reached a resolution.  The overall story is pretty entertaining and some new characters have been brought in that are a good addition to the ensemble.

Comments:  Another fun story for the junkyard crew.  I enjoy these books, but if they have a weakness it's that the characters don't really change much themselves.  That being said, I enjoy the stories and will continue to read them.

Comments:

Jamie McFarlane is great for space opera that is easy to read and fast paced.  There's some emotional depth, but nothing that rises to the point of trauma.  I enjoy picking his books up when I need a palate cleanser after an emotional rollercoaster.

This series follows a Vietnam veteran who acquires an alien symbiote and they team up to bring Truth, Justice, and the American Way to the galaxy.  The covers link to the books, and from there you can get to book 1 if you haven't read it yet.
